Maya Sloane
A debut artist website for UK singer-songwriter Maya Sloane, built around her first EP, Invisible Steps.

Problem
Maya Sloane was about to release her debut EP after a decade on the UK pub circuit. She had the music. She had the story. What she didn't have was a home for it online. Most artist sites feel like afterthoughts, a Linktree with ambition, or a label template with no soul. Maya needed something that matched the mood of her music: intimate, deliberate, and impossible to scroll past without feeling something.
Goals
Create a digital presence that feels like an extension of the music, not a promotion for it
Let the EP breathe — tracklist, artwork, and streaming all in one place
Give fans a reason to stay, explore, and come back for live dates
Build something a debut artist can grow into, not out of
Process
The music set the tone. Intimate vocals, wide-open arrangements, songs written on long walks across the Yorkshire moors. The design had to sit in that same space, quiet confidence, nothing fighting for attention. Dark palette, generous whitespace, and type that doesn't shout. Every layout decision came back to one question: does this feel like her?
Solution
A fully designed and developed artist website with integrated EP showcase, track previews, artist bio, and live dates, all in a single-page experience built on Astro. The site moves the way her music does: slow when it needs to be, bold when it counts. No clutter, no filler. Just story, sound, and a clear path to listen.
Results / Outcome
A site that introduces an artist, not just an album
Integrated music player and tracklist that keep listeners on the page
Live dates section ready to update as the tour grows
A foundation built to scale with her career from EP one onward
